If you don’t stay focused you’re finished. You need to stay consistent.
I look around and I see lots of aspiring artists, rappers, musicians and everybody is in such a rush! They are looking to prove something to their peers. It’s not a race! It’s your life! Don’t rush to blow up!
We should have a bigger conversation of what is your why.
What is your reason?
What makes you happy?
Who are you doing this for?
Will you make the world a better place with what you are doing?
Can you get paid from this?
Hone in. Focus. Adjust.
Don’t get distracted. Be around the right peers. Be places where you are valued! Spend quality time with your family. Have a conversation with them, say I am doing this and I need your full support, just understand I am focused on this and can have no distractions!
Find your balance.
Be thankful.
Be grateful.
Manage your time.
Understand you need to make money. Figure out how you’re going to make money. You need to make money consistently in a legal way.
Plan out your goals. Write them out.
Do you want a family of your own one day? Do you want to get married? I want these things.
I want success in the music business with God’s grace.
Keep a tunnel vision.
